odudo v2.55.1

For administrators and resellers

Liquidate domains from the estate without eating up your time

A domain portfolio from proceedings is rarely sold individually and ties up work that is needed elsewhere. Here you hand it over as a package, with the documentation that matches your position, and with a process that works even if nobody has access to the debtor's servers anymore.

Why your case is different

A marketplace is built for the owner selling their own domain. Three things about it don't fit you, and we've solved each of them separately.

You are not the owner

You sell by virtue of office. Instead of proof of ownership of the domain, you provide proof of your order: debtor, court, case number and the decision or order document as a file. We review this once per proceeding, not once per domain.

You do not have access to this zone

The debtor's server is shut down, hosting is unpaid, the administrator is no longer reachable. The otherwise standard proof via DNS entry is therefore not applicable in your case. In its place comes the order, and the rest depends on the transfer itself.

You make no warranties

You may not do that. The purchase agreement is provided as a template and can be replaced section by section with your own text, including the provisions section. The document states that the changes are from you and have not been reviewed by us.

What you receive

Package instead of individual sales

All domains from a proceeding as a single transaction, with one price and one list. Also mixed inventories with no internal connection.

Approval reservation

The award is subject to approval, for example by the creditors' committee. This is stated openly on the package page so the buyer knows it beforehand rather than afterward.

Escrow

The buyer pays us, the domains are transferred, then the money goes to the estate. Nobody has to trust the other.

Registry check

Expiration dates, transfer locks and registrar of each domain are automatically checked. What expires in two weeks, you see before it's gone.

Descending Auction

If it needs to be fast: the price drops in fixed increments until someone takes it, and never below your minimum.

Documents

Invoice, credit note and contract are generated automatically, as PDF, with transaction number and date.

Auction log

After each auction, a PDF containing the start, end, opening price, every bid with timestamp, and the result. Proof that the auction was publicly advertised and the best achievable price was sought. Bidders are listed only by their initials.

The process

  1. 01
Account and orderOpen an account, create a package, upload documents for the proceeding. We review them and release them. The documents are not public and do not appear on any page.
  2. 02
Import inventoryImport the domain list from a file or spreadsheet. Up to 500 names at once, including prices if provided.
  3. 03
Price and reservationPackage price or offers, plus the approval reservation if needed. We also calculate what the domains would individually cost at list price.
  4. 04
ProcessingBuyer pays into escrow account, transfer of domains, inspection period, payment to the estate. Each step is recorded with date in the transaction.
  5. 05
Documents for the fileInvoice, contract and, if auctioned, the auction protocol with the complete bid history. Everything as PDF from your account, retrievable at any time.

Two things we say openly

Payment is made to the account you provide; the account holder must be compatible with the estate and will be verified. And we are a marketplace and escrow agent, not legal advisors: whether and how you may liquidate the inventory is decided by you and the proceeding, not by us.

We answer questions about the process directly. Write to us before you start to avoid unnecessary detours.
