Manual

Account, Identity and Security

Master data, payout accounts, identity verification, two-factor authentication, receipts and backup.

Master Data

Name, private person or company, address, country and tax number. These form the basis for invoice, purchase agreement and confidentiality agreement, and determine the tax treatment of a sale.

After confirmed identity verification, name and address are locked. This is the purpose of verification: what is verified cannot be freely changed afterwards. Display name, language and telephone remain changeable. To change locked fields, please contact us.

Payout Accounts

Multiple accounts are possible, one is the default account. Required are account holder, IBAN or account number, currency; BIC, bank and further details if the account is located abroad. The IBAN is checked mathematically, not just for length.

An account for which a payout is scheduled cannot be deleted. And most importantly: as soon as the first account exists, held payouts are automatically rechecked. No one needs to contact us.

Identity Verification

Up to ten documents, PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 10 MB per file: passport, ID card, commercial register extract, proof of address. They are stored in a non-public location and are only visible to the escrow team.

Master data must be complete to submit. During and after verification, documents cannot be deleted. If rejected, the reason is shown in the account.

Verification is required for payouts and for purchases from €5,000.

Two-Factor Authentication

In three steps: enter password, scan QR code with an authenticator app, confirm the displayed code. Afterwards you will see recovery codes once, which you should write down; new ones are available at any time with password entry, the old ones will then no longer be valid. For administrators it is mandatory.

If the code does not match, it is almost always due to the device's time, not the app.

Your Name on the Invoice

Two options, and it is your decision:

  • With my name. Ordinary escrow. The invoice to the buyer carries your name, your address and your tax number.
  • Escrow Plus. The marketplace sells in its own name, you receive a credit, the buyer never sees your name. For this 3 percentage points surcharge.

Receipts

Every invoice and every credit with number, type, date, domain and amount, viewable and downloadable as PDF. They are created automatically as soon as a sale is completed; none of this needs to be requested.

Confidentiality Agreement

A form that generates a PDF: domain, term (2, 3 or 5 years), the other party, applicable law and jurisdiction, language. None of this is saved, the document is created when downloaded and bears no marketplace logo. A template, not legal advice.

Backup

At the click of a button a ZIP with domains including settings, texts, subpages and images, plus portfolios, tags, redirects, websites and the credit history. Never included: login credentials, payment information, keys. The last three backups remain stored for 14 days.

Restoring also works, but replaces texts and settings of the affected domains. Only what already exists in the account is adopted; credits and payments remain unaffected.

Help and Reports

The assistant in the account knows the status of your account and this handbook. What it cannot answer is forwarded as a report: error or idea, stated and described briefly. Every report receives a status (planned, in progress, completed, rejected) and, where necessary, a response.
